I was first noticed for my skills when I was 13... but not for photography. Nope. I had been editing videos since I hit middle school and I was pretty okay at it! That kicked off an amazing domino of teachers feeding into my passion and supporting me all the way until I graduated and went off to college for Film & Video Studies.
In college I hit a wall. I felt stifled by my professors, unsupported, and overall just lonely. I was a small town girl and suddenly I was alone and not feeling any spark in my life. So I promptly DROPPED OUT. That's where the story of my begins.
Armed with a secondhand camera from Ebay and faith that this was God's plan for my life, I started my business.

Not all that long ago I was a bride myself eager to share my wedding day with my huge family and our abundance of friends. In one part of my husband and I, that was what we wanted, but in another small part of us that held onto our special love story so closely - we wanted to just be together. So a month before our wedding on our (dating) anniversary, we eloped. We went to the courthouse and ate Red Lobster and it was the best day ever. A month later we had an incredible, fun, and laughter-filled wedding day with our families. It was perfect. To this day, only a handful of people know we eloped. Now you're one of them.
On both days I can remember my excitement. The pounding in my chest. The butterflies in my stomach. The thing is, I wasn't a photographer then, and I made a mistake I've kicked myself for ever since. I didn't invest in my photographs. In fact, I couldn't tell you the last time I even looked at them.
I wish I could go back in time and do it all over, but I can't. All I CAN do is help YOU create photos that freeze your day in motion. The raw, the real, the feel. I want to bottle it up and give it back to you in the one way I know how - with my camera.
